First
we had to make some cables, because our gps is an OEM type.

The wire out of the gps is splitted
in 2.
1 is going to the PC the otherone going to the DGPS.<wire diagram>
The antenna is going out, to our test setup outsite.
The small GPS antenna and the DGPS antenne are mounted on the pergola.

All antenne stuff will
be embedded in our composite structure.
The DGPS will be replaced by a RST copper foil antenna.

The blue connector, which is
our RS232_USB cable.
Is plugged in the USB hub
Install a driver and your PC
has multiple com port connection by just 1 wire.
I don't TRUST micro$oft (maybe
the maker of the USB hub has the same feeling)
so a simple check in the manegement system will do.

Clicking deep deep down in the
windows structure.

So you change your Com identifier and the
baudrate !

Let's start testing with OZI
First Try Off course it isn't
working !!
Oh.. Shit it's a Garmin GPS.
No...... It's NMEA

Everything is ready.
The GPS receiver plugged in software on the PC to show the RAW GPS
info.

Testing work is done. This will be on this page asap.
Ok all GPS stuff is working except for the GARMIN
DGPS.
To make a very long and annoying story short.
We send the complete set-up to the factory. Heard nothing for a few
months.
We became angry and spammed the shitt out of them !!
We can be very Unpleasant if you try to screw us !!
The send over a new GPS and DGPS , antenna and wiring, because the
screwed up and lost track of the package.
So now we are starting all over again !
Our latest opinion about Garmin is not to good!!
It is in the same category as Aircraft Spruce and EarthLCD.
Try to
avoid these companies, it's bad for your health !!
