Compare
the Garmin 25LP and the Rockwell Jupiter
Sam's GPS Raw Data Pages
© Conclusion :There is no clear overall
winner. The 25LP scores slightly better in the Urban Canyon/ Foliage
Test, where the Jupiter scores better under less benign multipath
conditions. In my opinion the behavior of the 25LP is better predictable
because it delivers the raw data as they were measured (non-smoothed).
Although the smoothing process of the Jupiter is very effective
nearly all the time, once it goes wrong, it goes wrong bad and unpredictable.
Your own application will be decisive in your choice, prices are
nearly identical.

GPS25-HVS Accepts power from unregulated
high voltage power supplies between 6 and 40 VDC. Asynchronous serial
data interfaces via 2 serial ports with true RS-232 voltage level
outputs. All serial inputs on all versions are compatible with either
true RS-232 or TTL/CMOS voltage levels. Port 1 uses NMEA 0183 data
format. Port 2 transmits binary position and raw measurement data
and receives RTCM SC-104 differential corrections data, message
types.
We already dug in the antenna
in our composite skin of our airplane, so we just need a receiver.

The power supply can be done by a 6V DC - 40V DC for
the GPS25 HVS version
So we provide power by the on board DC power bus.
For backup and testing we use a 9V battery.
Watch out you can fry your GPS If
you haven't the HVS version !!!
If you need 5VDC, your ps2 can provide
the power.
You can use your dead mouse for this connector

May be this is helping you more, you can by the cheaper version
GPS25.

We found this too late, we already ordered the stuff!!
Everything is ready.
The GPS receiver plugged in software on the PC to show the RAW GPS
