The first lay-up is a 6-ply BID fabric 12.5x18", this is sawn to 10x16"
It's weight should be between 10.5 and 12.5 ounce. 11 is just about perfect. 10.86 ounce !!

De volgende lay-up is de "confidence layup" <UD,UD,BID,BID> sym. opgebouwd rond een schuimkern.
Het wordt getest met
RUIM 75 kg !!! .;-)

Het poly- urethaan schuim is goed te schuren en te vormen.

We hebben van alle materialen een monster genomen.

We dompelen dit onder in benzine, diesel en rode diesel. De tijd zal laten zien of het er tegen bestand is of niet.

We submerged all materials in avgas, diesel and red-diesel. Time will tell if it resists the fuels.

.Het verlijmen van schuimen met de 5-minuten epoxy was nieuw voor ons, daarom alvast wat getest.

Sticking foam together with 5-min . epoxy was a new technique for us, so we tested some samples.
