Zouden jullie niet eerst eens het vliegtuig afbouwen ???
NEE !!
Iedereen doet dit als laatste, het wordt gezien als een onbelangrijk onderdeel, die stoelen vliegen immers niet.
Door onze unieke bouw wijze , (eerst de romp en dan de rest) Kunnen we goed werken in het interrieur.

Ons interieur zal bijdragen tot de "Cool-Factor" van het vliegtuig.

Everybody, is doing it this why. Because the think that the upholstery isn't important.

By our different building sequence,( first the fuselage) we are able to complete the upholstery in this stage.

Our upholstery will enhance the "Cool-Factor" of our plane.

Een oude stoel, wat geen enkele waarde lijkt uit te stralen, maar voor ons belangrijk is.

Old car seats, they look like shit. But before throwing them in the bin, we just try them to fit in the fuselage.

Even strippen en het schuim wordt zichtbaar.

Remove the fabric and the foam is appearing.

De kramme en ijzeren spijlen verwijderen. Zo gaat de bekleding eraf.

Met de hete draad de achterkant vlak snijden.

Hot-wire the back side as flat as possible.

Verrek !! ze passen !! zelfs 2 naast elkaar!
Als de sodemieter wat schuim bij elkaar gezocht en de test-zit uitgevoerd.

Shit !! the stuff fits ! amazing! even 2 seats side by side.
This calls for a test-seat.

Direct maar door gaan met de rest, we zijn nu niet meer te stuiten.

Lets complete the upholstery now, we tasted it and loved it.

Schuim snijden met de hete-draad en schuren met de bandschuur machine.

Hot-wire the softfoam and sand it with the belt sander.

Dit is het stoel arrangement aan de voorzijde.

This is the seat arrangement at the front.

Een proef-zit is weer op zijn plaats.

De stoelen bevielen zo goed, we hebben er maar een paar van aangeschaft.

We liked the seats so much we bought 6.

Breng geweldige schade toe aan de nieuwe kussens met de fein !

Damage the new seats at the right spot.

Verwijder de bevestigings punten.

Remove the mounting holes.

Verwijder wat van de plastic rand.

Remove a piece of the plastic rim.

Vlak het kussen aan de achterzijde.

Flatten the backside of the foam.

Het schuim kan met de schuurmachine worden gemodeleerd.

The foam can be modeled with a rotational sander

1 voorstoel klaar.

1 front seat finished.

Hoofd kussens, brandstof kraan en de voorstoelen.

The complete seat arrangement with head cushions and fuel valve.

De bevestiging van de zitting is dmv draad einden geklonken aan de plastic rand van de stoel.

Threads are riveted to the plastic rim of the seat.

Uiteraard passen alleen de voorstoelen, achter moet het nodige gebeuren.

Only the front seat back had a perfect fit, all other seats have to be modified.

De stoelen zijn compleet met plastic rand te versnijden met de hete draad.

The complete seat can be hot wired including the plastic rim.

Door er 4, 7 en 9 cm weg te snijden zijn de voorzitting, achter rug leuning en het half fabrikaat voor de achter stoelen te maken.

By cutting away 4, 7 and 9 cm one can make the front sea, rear seat back and almost finished rear seats.

Voor de achter stoel rest nog het wegsnijden van het 2e vlak voor de stoelrand plus wat modeleer werk.

For the rear seat, just cut away the second part of the seat edge and some sanding will do the job.

Alle onderdelen worden aan elkaar geklonken met popnagels. Het schuim met speciaal verstevegings band. Klaar voor een hoesje !

All parts are riveted together and the foam is stuck together by special reinforcement tape.

Het resultaat een bekledings hoes uit jeans. Nu kunnen we ze zou na laten maken in het leer.

The jeans template are fitted to the cushions. Now it is easy to make the total upholstery in leather.

De hoes moet uiteraard wel even gespannen om de kussen heen.
Smoeld lekker strak !!

We hebben al wat proberen te doen met kunstleer, carbon PE laminate.
Het is nog de verkeerde kleur

OK, het schuim is klaar.Hoe maak je die dingen nu vast aan het vliegtuig? Let op de kartonen mal !!

Wanneer je het echt niet meer weet, bied een stukje karton uitkomst.

Just make a template, of the fixture edge of the foam seats.

Verwarmen en buigen volgens het contour en vast floxen.

Heat and bend around the contour of the seat and flox it in place.

De nodige afwerking van de randen met de dremmel.

Kijk zo ziet het er nu uit.

De brandstof kraan in het midden steekt tussen de zittingen door.
Maximaal zit comfort !.

The fuel valve is protruding between the seats.

Maximum seat dimensions and nothing else.

OK, Hier ging het nu om.
Die achterlijke "kabouter plop" punt mutsen zijn de kliko in gegaan.
The BMW hoofd steunen staan heel "aardig".

Geef toe, BETER... !!!

The official design head rest, looks a "bit" weird, if you compare it to the smooth BMW head rests.

De Schouder balk, moet iets aan gepast worden.
(PS. zie het schouder balk nr.1 ernaast liggen, deze kwam niet door de kwaliteitscontole heen, hoppa.. in de kliko !!)

The shoulder brace can be build according plan.
(PS see shoulder brace nr. 1 on the table, it will be scrapped !!)

De geleider buizen zijn van oude koperen waterleiding buis. Een wig van schuim en een beetje flox en glas doen de rest.

The headrest guides are made of old water tap tubing.
Copper and it's a perfect fit.
A foam wedge and some flox and glass will do the rest.

OK.. we draven een beetje door.
TV scherm in de hoofdsteunen.
Kunnen de achter passagiers genieten van de Glasscockpit of de laatste film op DVD.

TV screens in the headrests, so our passengers can enjoy the glass cockpit or the latest movie on DVD.

O. Ja uiteraard moeten deze in een bakje in de hoofdsteun komen.
Dus bakje buigen en floxen.

There must be a hard cover in the headrests to place the screen in.
