Hoezo extra tanks??

De cozy mkIV is een 4 persoons toestel. Wanneer je nu bijvoorbeeld met z'n 2e vliegt kan je meer brandstof meenemen.

Standaard 52 USGallon,196.8 liter
EXTRA minimaal ~100 liter

We hebben gekozen voor een centrale tank in het midden van het
vliegtuig

De range Nijkerk-Moskou, is mogelijk

Why extended range tanks ?

The Cozy MKIV is capable of carrying 4 persons. If just flying with 2 persons on board, we can add additional fuel in the amount of 2 person.

Standard it's 52 USGallon, we would like to add 25/30 Gallon extra in the additional tanks.
Everything is depending on the weight/balance which must be done !!

So we have chosen for a center tank option.

Now a range Nijkerk-Moscow is possible.

Onder da achterbank, komt de centrale tank.

Under the rear seat bench there will be a central collection tank.

Beide tanks worden met elkaar door verbonden. Onder en boven in de tank.

Both tanks are interconnected, at the bottom and the top.

Juist ja. Een perfecte kraan om ook het water uit het brandstof systeem te tappen.

The Drain valve, is just the same as your central heating drain valve.

Beide tanks krijgen er 1, verzonken in de bodem. Alleen een gaatje in de buitenromp zal het uiteindelijke resutaat zijn

Buried in the flox, nothing sticking out, just a tiny hole for draining is the result.

Brandstof toevoer,vleugeltanks.
Brandstof afvoer naar de motor.
Brandstof toevoer uit de extra tanks op de achterbank.

Alles gekoppeld door veilige aansluitingen.

De bovenste koppeling steekt naar voren en heeft een snel koppeling.
